The band was founded in October 2023.
Brother Bloody and Brother Catfish met for the first time at the Smoking ‘Guitars Cigarboxguitar Festival, where the two performed their solo program. After another meeting, they quickly started on their first projects.
Who is and was involved in the Brothers of The Bloody Catfish?
The band:
Brother Bloody: he writes the songs and is responsible for the mix and mastering. Bloody’s main instrument is the 4-string cigarbox guitar and all the other Instruments used in the songs. Of course we built our CBGs by hand ourselves.
Brother Catfish: he writes the lyrics, sings and plays the two-string bass

If they didn’t let us out to play and tinker, our project wouldn’t be able to grow and thrive like this. Specializing in capturing the energy of live bands, Knips seamlessly integrated the band into a miniature temple setting for the captivating “Swiss Samurai Sauce” video. Tackling night shots with finesse, Knips delivered stunning visuals on a low budget, Thanks to Knips’ commitment and talent, another remarkable production came to fruition, all done with heart and freetime generosity.
As our productions are in the low budget range, we are of course very happy to inspire others with our ideas and to be able to win them over as actors, cameramen, digital FX specialists, helpers and supporters for our songs and clips.
